Heelan seniors Mara Aesoph, Asia Keane and Lydia Green are the female stars of the upcoming Heelan musical “9 to 5 The Musical,” performing with Jakob Wiest who plays the sexist, egotistical, dishonest boss.

Supporting performers will be Anna Gordon, Kaleb Carda, Janyia Booker, Madi Cramer, Grace Nelson, Tommy Osborn, Henry Osborn, Jack Petty, Lily Graham, and London Russell.  Another 24 students make up the chorus.

Mara Aesoph plays Violet (Lilly Tomlin in the 1980 movie,) Asia Keane plays Doralee (the part of Dolly), and Lydia Green is Judy (Jane Fondd in the movie). The part of boss Franklin Hart is played by Heelan’s Wiest.
Heelan’s “9 to 5 The Musical,” is based on the 1980 hit movie with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. Set in the late 1970s, the comedy is a story of friendship, revenge and fairness.

Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their lying, hypocritical boss. They live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While he is "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.
