Heelan High Graduation is May 19, 2019

Heelan to Graduate 119 Sunday

A senior class of 119 will graduate from Bishop Heelan Catholic High School in a commencement ceremony Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre.

Valedictorian Jessica Kratz and Salutatorian Noah Roerig will formally address the Class of 2019. Student Council President Katey Namanny will lead her class in the Prayer of St. Francis, and Kate Gill will sing the Ave Maria.

Heelan Chaplain Fr. Shane Deman will give the opening prayer.  Dr. John Flanery, president of Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools, will deliver an introduction followed by the Call to Graduation by Heelan Principal Christian Bork.

Diplomas will be presented by Bishop R Walker Nickless, Bishop and Patty Lansink, school superintendent of the Diocese of Sioux City, Jake Delfs, Heelan academic dean and Flanery. The Heelan bank will perform the Pomp and Circumstance for the processional and The Chimes of Liberty for the recessional.
