Fall Play Features Comedy Talent

Student Performers Present “The Play That Goes Wrong”
Posted on 10/20/2022
The comedy chops of Bishop Heelan students will be showcased in the fall performances of “The Play That Goes Wrong” Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 10-12 at 7 p.m. in the Heelan Auditorium. The 1920s whodunit plot is part Monty Python and part Sherlock Holmes.

The cast is made up of Kaleb Carda, Anna Gordon, Hazel Ritchie, Jack Petty, Tommy Osborn, Bobby Danner, Drew Osborne, London Russell and Grace I. Nelson.

A shoutout to Heelan student stagehands Henry Osborn, Cammy Chauncey, and Jacob Oldenkamp.

The term “break a leg!” takes on a whole new meaning for a woefully misguided troupe of players for a drama society’s opening night performance. Characters include an unconscious leading lady, a corpse who can’t play dead, a ruffled detective, a word-mangling butler, technical gaffes, forgotten lines, and sabotaged scenery. What’s not to love!

Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
