Meet Larry and Sharon Walsh

Larry Walsh grew up in Cathedral Parish and lived onLarry and Sharon Walsh cropped
Main Street in Sioux City. Religious sisters guided his classroom learning and he fondly remembers inspirational priests. After his wife. Sharon. spotted him in Thompson’s Drug Store, they married, raised their family and built a life together.

Today nearly 60 years later they have endured great joy and also sadness, which includes the loss of a son. With love and grace the couple remain devoted to each other, to the sanctity of life, and to giving back.
“The gift of life is a gift of God’s love,” Larry says. “Sharon and I believe that preplanned giving to our church and its schools after the time of our passing is an obligation – a payback to those who sacrificed to direct us on Life’s journey.”

Thank you to Larry and Sharon and all who have placed Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools in their wills and estate plans. God bless you!
