Meet the Advancement Department

Tom Betz '85

Tom Betz ’85 serves as the Director of Major Gifts. Tom has been part of the Heelan family since 1999, beginning his  career as a teacher and coach at Heelan High School before transitioning to the administration office in 2005 to serve    the entire school system.

In his role, Tom works closely with alumni, parents, donors, and friends of Heelan to strengthen relationships and  support the mission of Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools through philanthropic giving, alumni engagement, special  events, and community connections.

Known for his welcoming personality and deep passion for Heelan, Tom has a unique ability to make every person feel  valued, connected, and at home within the Crusader community. His dedication to building meaningful relationships continues to play an important role in advancing the mission and future of Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools.

Patty McClintock 

Patty McClintock serves as the Director of Annual Giving. Since joining Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools in 2021, Patty has played an important role in strengthening relationships with alumni, donors, parents, and supporters throughout the Heelan community.

Patty works closely with many areas of advancement, including reunions, scholarships, donor engagement, and the school system’s largest fundraising event, the Annual Heelan Auction. From coordinating committees and developing creative themes to securing sponsorships and overseeing event execution, Patty is the driving force behind bringing the Heelan Auction to life each year.

Known for her energetic spirit, organization, and passion for creating meaningful experiences, Patty has a natural ability to make others feel welcomed, valued, and heard. Her enthusiasm and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on the Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools community.

Tammy Eveleth '87

Tammy Eveleth ’87 serves as the Database Support Manager. As a Bishop Heelan alum herself, Tammy has a deep connection to the school system and has been an important part of the Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools team since 2020.

Tammy plays a vital role in supporting the Advancement Department through the management and organization of donor, alumni, and gift information. She works diligently to maintain accurate records, process gifts, manage reports and receipts, and ensure the school system stays connected with its generous supporters and alumni community. Tammy also oversees updates to alumni and donor records, helping keep communication accurate and meaningful for families, alumni, and friends of Heelan.

Behind the scenes, Tammy’s dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence help make many of the school system’s communications and donor relations efforts possible.
