Fill out our ESA INFO FORM and we will contact you about Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) now offered in the State of Iowa to be used for tuition in an accredited private school, like one of our schools in the Bishop Heelan System
This means Iowa parents will receive $7,635 for the 2023-24 school year, an amount equal to the per pupil funding allocated to public school districts.
BHCS Iowa families who apply for an ESA will be able to receive funds for their student next school year if their child is a:
- Kindergarten student
- Transfer student from public schools in 1-12 grade
- Currently enrolled BHCS student from a family at or below 300% federal poverty level. ($90,000 income for a family of four)
A company called Odyssey will manage ESA applications, financial transactions, compliance, fraud prevention and customer service for the state of Iowa.
Parents can start applying for ESAs May 31.
