Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools

An outdoor terrace is being added near the front doors of Bishop Heelan High School to offer students an area for lunch, socializing, meetings, waiting for rides and outdoor classes to promote COVID-19 safety. The terrace can also host outdoor music programs, pre-game meals, faculty gatherings and special events.

Bishop Heelan High School’s class of 2020 scored a composite of 23.9 on the ACT college exam, according to results released this October from ACT. Most Heelan seniors, 93% took the test, compared to about half nationwide and 68% in Iowa.
