Laurie Dougherty
Director of Enrollment

Laurie Dougherty is honored to serve as the Director of Enrollment for Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools. After teaching at Bishop Heelan Catholic High School for 35 years, she transitioned into enrollment where she now focuses on welcoming new families and supporting students as they begin their journey at Heelan.

Laurie loves offering tours, coordinating student shadow days, connecting with new families, and checking in after transfer students enroll. Her long history in Catholic education gives families an authentic perspective on what makes Bishop Heelan special.

As a longtime teacher, Laurie witnessed daily acts of kindness, students supporting one another, and young people learning how to face challenges with grace. While students are not perfect and face the same pressures as their peers elsewhere, Bishop Heelan schools intentionally infuse faith into actions and create an environment rooted in care for others and the world.
