Show Choir Review 2024

Thanks to BHCS Fine Arts parent Larry Carda for all his help this season! 

If you enjoy singing, BIshop Heelan has an outstanding music department with many different choirs for every level of performer. 

You can compete in any of the following groups: 

  • Freshmen Women's Chorus
  • Crusader Choir (Men's choir)
  • Bel Canto (Women's choir)
  • Chorale

These choirs perform at the Fall Concert, Madrigal, Pops Concert, Spring Concert and State Large Group Concert. 

Show Choirs 

All participants are selected by audition and practice outside of normal school day hours. All members must be enrolled in one of the curriculum choirs that meet during the school day. All groups are competitive. 

Genesis is comprised of seventh- and eighth-grade students from the Bishop Heelan Middle Schools. 

Magnifique is the women's group made of freshmen through seniors.

Harmonia Mundi is our highly competitive show choir group, and just completed its 37th year. The group travels around the area during the competition season. The group earned the Grand Champion award at the Westwood Invitational this past season.
