At Bishop
Heelan Catholic Schools tuition is based on a percentage of a family's
income OR the actual cost to educate per student, whichever is the
lowest.

Did you know that for the 2007-08 school year 77%
of our families paid less than the full cost; the average cost for grade
school was $2,111 and high school was $3,379?

The actual cost for grades K-8 is $4,660 and
for grades 9-12 is $6,238.

The percentage is 7% of a family's Adjusted Gross
Income (AGI).

Families with one student and an AGI below $70,000
the limit is 5%.

All new families to BHCS for 2008-09 school year
will receive a $500 new family discount off their tuition!

Any current BHCS family who refers a family to
BHCS, and that family enrolls, will receive a $500 discount off their
tuition!

Families can apply for assistance through the standard
FAIR financial aid application (this includes the Msgr. Lafferty Tuition
assistance) and send this into FAIR with a $17 filing fee.

FAIR, after processing the form, will then notify the
Business Office as to any assistance that the family will be awarded.

BHCS has at least $215,000 allocated from the Msgr.
Lafferty Tuition Foundation. This money is for families with the
greatest need.

BHCS has $175,000 allocated for assistance from our
general budget. This will go to our middle income families.

Families can apply for several different scholarships
available.
