Juanita is from
From Monterrey, N. L. Mexico. She has a degree in executive secretary
bilingual and religious education. Juanita has also studied ESL at Western
Iowa Tech Community College.
Before coming to BHCS in August 2000 she worked at LA CASA LATINA. Juanita is married to Juan Garcia-Cervantes, who works as Hispanic Ministry for the Diocese of Sioux City. They have four children: Maria-Auxiliadora, who attends Bishop Heelan, Juan de Jesus, Flor de Maria and Dulcemaria, who attend Sacred Heart. Juanita became an American citizen this summer.
