Posted on 05/16/2018

Mater Dei School has been awarded $15,000 from Missouri River Historical Development (MRHD) to upgrade technology in classrooms. The grant will fund iPads, Chromebooks, interactive projectors or 70” flatscreen TVs with Screenbeams for wireless classroom presentations and teacher Surface Pro laptops. Mater Dei PSO will help support the technology upgrade project that totals over $50,000.

“Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools is committed to standardizing classroom technology at all grade levels across all the schools,” said Cindy Spenner, academic technology manager who wrote the grant. “MRHD has been integral in helping Holy Cross and Sacred Heart schools and we are excited to receive the first MRHD award for Mater Dei School.”

Spenner says Mater Dei will focus on select classrooms and add more as funds are raised.
