Amy Bisenius

   

Amy has a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa. 

She taught physical education at St. Edmond High School for five years before coming to Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools. She has been at Mater Dei for 19 years. During that time she has taught second, third and sixth grade. 

Amy and her husband Jim, who is a teacher in Sergeant Bluff, have three children: Joe '01 (who pitches in the Philadelphia Phillies organization), Amy '05 and Mike, who is a junior at Bishop Heelan.
