Nona Hartz grew up in Lincoln , Nebraska , graduating from St. Teresa's and Pius X High School.  She  received her Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Nebraska .  

Nona joined Blessed Sacrament School as a kindergarten aide and substitute teacher in 1982 and has taught first grade since 1987.  Her three children were in the Catholic school system for all 12 years.  Matt graduated from Heelan in 1989, Christy (Hartz) Everingham in 1992, and Sara (Hartz) Britton in 1997.  She has one grandson and three granddaughters to spoil.
