Barb is a graduate of Twin Rivers High School in Bode, IA. She received her bachelor's degree from Mankato State University. Barb and her family moved to Sioux City in 1985. She has been with BHCS for 20 years. Barb is married to Rick. They have four children; Mike, Kim, Krista and Kelli. All graduated from Heelan. Barb also has one daughter-in-law, Kim and two son-in-laws; Casey and Mike and 4 grandchildren with another expected in February of 2008. Barb and Rick enjoy golfing together, lots of sports, traveling and road trips, including picnics along the way and a book always close!
