Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools works in conjunction with the Sioux City Community Schools to adjust the schedule due to weather related conditions. Every effort is made to make decisions in an efficient and timely fashion. 

School delays, cancellations, and early dismissals are sent to SNOWCAP (Secure Notifications of Weather/Cancellations and Postponements), a secure web site that posts the announcements and provides immediate notification to all media entities.

Alerts are then communicated through the various local radio and TV stations. You can check for BHCS weather related announcements by double clicking on the button at the right..
