Kate is a graduate of Serrano High School in Phelan, CA. She has her bachelor's degree in English and secondary education from Briar Cliff University. Prior to joining the Bishop Heelan staff in 2003, Kate worked at Sylvan Learning Center and subbed in the Sioux City and South Sioux City Community School Districts. Kate teaches freshman English, multicultural literature, creative writing and moderates the Crusader Chronicle. |
