Tom attended Sacred Heart High School in Monticello, IA. He has a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and a teaching major in mathematics from Loras College in Dubuque, IA. Tom also has a master's degree in secondary education from the University of South Dakota. Tom taught for one year at Immaculate Conception High School in Charles City, IA, before coming to Bishop Heelan. He has been here for 39 years. He and his wife Cathe have four children (three girls and one boy). |
