Brian
Atchison |

|
Brian graduated from Dubuque Wahlert High School in 1978. He recieved a bachelors degree in social studies from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, where he was a two time All Conference baseball player and a four year letter winner. He received a master's degree from Western Michigan University in physical education and served as a graduate assistant coach. Brian teaches health, exercise science, world history and geography, as well as coaches baseball. Prior to coming to Bishop Heelan High School, he served as head baseball coach at North High School as well as head baseball coach at The University of South Dakota where he also taught undergraduate physical education classes.
Brian has two sons: Eric, a
senior at Bishop Heelan, and Andrew an 8th grader at Holy Cross. He and
his wife Jodi, also have a daughter, Sophia, who is three.
