Technology Literacy
Technology Literacy "is the ability to responsibly use appropriate technology to communicate; solve problems; access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create information to improve learning in all subject areas and to acquire lifelong knowledge and skills in the 21st Century."
Technology Integration
Technology Integration occurs when educators use a variety of technology-supported strategies and tools for teaching and learning experiences for all students across all curricular areas at all grade levels.

Technology is a dynamic tool which offers opportunities to students and faculty. Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools embrace technology with enthusiasm, always bearing in mind that the human interaction between student and teacher is the single most important component of education. It is our goal is to provide educational excellence to students and staff by making available the appropriate technology resources. 

As of January, 2012, students in grades 6-12 MAY bring personal computing devices (laptops, iPads, etc) to school for use in the classroom. Participation is OPTIONAL- Please refer to the referenced file below for details of this inititiative.
